Skyway Marina District Design Guidelines

The Skyway Marina District will be having out membership meeting on Tuesday, Oct 10 at 5PM at the SPC Allstate Center in the Desoto Room. Wannemacher Jensen Architects will be presenting the Skyway Marina District’s Design Guidelines.
The Skyway Mariana District Design Guidelines are a product of the partnership that the Skyway Marina District has made with Wannemacher Jensen Architects to great a document that outlines the aesthetic vision for the 34th Street South corridor. Jason Jensen has said, “The Skyway Marina District Guidelines are a contemporary vision for this vibrant St. Petersburg community. The Skyway district is a unique destination on St. Petersburg’s waterfront with a strong mix of Retail, Residential, Office, and Boating. The Guidelines take style cues from yachts and sailboats embracing the waterfront environment. It will allow developers to relate to each other and reinforce contemporary architecture and lifestyle. An emphasis has been placed on the pedestrian with streetscape improvements, trails, shade, and outdoor seating. We are creating a southern recognizable gateway to Saint Petersburg and Boca Ciega Bay. This vision has great potential to establish the Skyway District as a premier community to live, work, play and boat.”
